C 25X1 SUBJECT: Visit by Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on International Operations' Staffers Michael Glennon and John Ritch, 29 September 1978 1. (C) Glennon and Ritch first met with the undersigned and the Legislative Counsel to discuss the Subcommittee staff's request for specific details of the Agency's liaison relationship It was agreed that the A/DDO would speak to the staffers on the subject of the Agency's liaison relationships generally on Wednesday, 4 October 1978, at 10:00 a.m. It was also agreed that if the Subcommittee staff felt that this briefing did not satisfy its' concerns, a letter from Subcommittee Chairman George McGovern (D., S. Dak.) to the DCI setting forth the Subcommittee staff's specific question would be its' next step. 2. (C) Glennon and Ritch then resumed their questioning of 25X1 the DDO branch chief 0 The interview proceeded with what has come to be the more or less normal level of acrimony between Mr. Glennon on the one hand and the undersigned ands 25X1 on the other.
