On behalf of the House Permanent Select Committee on
Intelligence I would like to invite you or your representa-
tive to participate in a hearing by the Subcommittee on
Evaluation to review the management of the intelligence
community's Automated Data Processing (ADP) activities.
The Subcommittee on Evaluation's hearing will be held
from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Ma_r_Qh 212.,...U-U.-. The Sub-
committee staff recently met with the Information Resources
Office (IRO) to discuss a tentative outline which will
include:
0 Information Resources Office
-- Review of community-wide management initiatives
over the past year
-- Progress report on IRO contractual efforts
-- Current problems, strengths and weaknesses of
the management approach
-- Future planning and long range issues
o Department of Defense (DIA)
-- Overview of the Department of Defense Intelligence
Information System (DODIIS) Master Plan
-- Provide additional detail on what PDSC and Eucom
Aides will provide for analysts and a progress
report on their implementation
-- The future impact. of analyst support systems
such as joint CIA/DIA SAFE to other GDIP elements
