The pontons are< in sets of two which attach to each side of a medium tank. Each ponton is powered by a hydro jet engine and are employed when standard bridging techniques are not possible or for limited sea journeys. The?RIGID POINTED PONTON has been observed with independent amphibious tank regiments.
