Modified BM 14/19 Multiple Rocket Launcher Identified in China
COMMENT: A modified version of the BM 14/19 multiple rocket launcher was
identified for the first time in China at Mudanjiang i\ rmy Barracks AL-1
in the Shenyang Military Region. The modification consisted of a hard-
covered, raised compartment immediately behind the cab and forward of the
tubes. This will possibly be used for rocket storage, thus providing a
reload capability. It is possible, however, that this could be an
environmental crew housing.
