A. SUMMARY OF ACCsrs :
1. SIC BRARUH
a? presented JP 115/58 briefings for

b. A great amount of branch effort was directed toward the
destruction of classified materials no longer needed and
a general cleanup and rearrangement of the area for future
work.

d. Several excellent movies were obtained from ABC this past
month for the Scientific Branch. These movies dealt with
various nucl facilities in the U.B. and were shown to

this field.

the month. Four projects were completed.

contract for making a stereogrem cutter and a stereogram
aperture card format.
c. Five copies of the MSD aircraft key were reproduced, as a
result of a requirement from the Navy, and two copies
went to them via CCS.
d. As part of the division reorganization the contents of all
safes and map cases were consolidated or destroyed.
e. A review of photographs and diagrams held in the AE
collection tile was made in order to select examples
for the Nuclear Energy card file.
f. With the help of analysts from the Military Branch a start
was made in reorganizing the stereogram file by subject.

1. SCIENTIFIC BBA H
a. Project work accounted for 67% of the total hours available
to the Branch. In the interest of completing certain projects
as soon as possible, work has been concentrated on eleven
projects; others previously assigned have been temporarily
set aside.

given by Dr. Scoville and reflected OSI estimates in the nuclear
energy field.

a. Project work accounted for 699 of all branch time during the
month. Fourteen projects were Completed, fourteen projects
were assigned to analysts, and thirteen projects were carried
forward.
b. Live, administration and training accounted for 24% of all Branch
time during the month.

e. represented the branch at the OCR/IR trip to Pautuxent
Jr Station.
3 ? EXPLOITATION ASSISTANT
The major activities engaged in were:
a. A CBR briefing was given, with joint participation by the
Army, on 14 by and repeated on 15 May. The briefing

b. One of the Mining and Milling reports was completed
and sent to reproduction.
c. Final changes in the A/C Key negs were made and the
negs were sent t* the lab for reproduction.

f. The stereogram aperture card and cutter project was
coordinated with T88 and fans were to take up
