SUBJECT: Value of Stereo Coverage Versus Non-stereo or a Single Camera System
1. Significant for rapid readout and signature identification
dependent on quality of photography.
2. Advantage of producing more (double) coverage per pay-load.
25X1 D
.3. Provides a better perspective of configuration.
.4+. Increase in-usability due to double coverage. Precludes a
percentage loss in photo-interpretation due to haze, clouds, and poor quality
of non-stereo coverage.
5. Insures a more positive identification due to height,?depth, and
shadow factors.
6. Provides a better perspective of drainage, terrain, and vegetation
in relation to logical location of features.
7. Provides a variety of angles of observation.
The above listed advantages of stereo coverage out-weigh the single major
advantage of the increased coverage of a single camera system.
