Under Secretary of State Manning plus 6 or 7 other individuals. Under
2 5X1 Secretary of State Manning and group are charged with preparing materials for
U. N. Security Council on Intervention in Laos. At 1430 attended briefing
25X1 with and DIA, of Mr. William Bundy, Assistant Secretary
of State of Far Eastern Arrairs utilizing the above package augmented by a
selECtion of additio Y materials brought by At 1445, with 25X1
25X1 I I attended a meeting with Mr. Neubert and Dick
ewart and several of er state Department personnel, names unknown, who are
charged with preparing materials for presentation through Ambassador Unger to
the ICC Team in Laos. These gentlemen were concerned over the fact that the 25X1
photo materials presented could not definitely rin down VN and Pathet Lau
violations in Laos. It was determined that DIA, and 25X1
CIA, would select a number of graphics from avail ab e T maters s an join y
cation these materials for possible presentation to the ICC by C.O.B. Thursday,
