1. The Nitra Airfield ff818N-1806 was located approximately one
kilometer southeast of Nitra 819N-1805, 300 in. northeast
of the Nitra River, ncl. A Pt. ~, and two kilometers south of
the highway, Encl. a, Pt. .
2. The airfield was square, approximately 700 in. (north-south) and
700 M. (east-west). It could not be extended because of the
marshes surrounding the airfield. The airfield was grass
surfaced, level, with natural drainage and was approximately
200 m. above sea level.

Obstructions included a hill approximately 200 in. high, five
kilometers north of the airfield, and chimneys 30-40 m. high,
lj km. west of the airfield.
One stuccoed-brick hangar with a shed roof was located on
the southwest portion of airfield in 1948. light, 25X1
Doslet aircraft parked in front the hangar which was used
for s oring such aircraft. o aircraft after 1948. 25X1
ruins of brick buildings on south portion of airfield. 25X1
USAF review completed.
