1. The caserne in Jicin 50-26, E 15-27was adjacent on the north to
the outskirts of the town, adjacent to and west; of the Jicin to
Zebin road, and 100-150 m. west of the Jicin to Zeleznice road
ncl. 7. It was under Army control. Jicin supplied its
electricity and water, and two roads Lffncl. A, Pts. 3 and 7 and the
Jicin railroad depot provided access 'to it.

The unit traveled on the road in the eneral direction of I
E 15-2 , 1 Six or
seven gun carriages were drawn by trucks; the guns were canvas-
covered, and the gun barrel outlines through the canvas were 3* -
4 in. long. Thirty soldiers were with each truck. They wore green
uniforms with black shoulder boards with red borders and the metal
antiaircraft insignia. From March 1953 until. April 1953, six or
seven mobile radar units'ncl. ) each with a driver and one other
passenger, accompanied the gun units. These men wore green uniforms
with black shoulder boards with blue borders and the metal signal
corps insignia.
