Runway: 1,200 m. long, 80 m. wide,., 15 cm. thick; concrete; coin' accommodate twin-engine bombers; could be extended angther 1,000 m.; (airfield had no'taxi strips or peri- met-er tracks.) 2. Hangar: 50 x 30 x 7 m4; reinforced concrete, with a tin s e roof; in excellent condition, looked new* two 25X1 Storch's, two AN-2's, four P0-2's, and two C-k7's inside; hangar was 400 m. from runway, fit. 1, abov27. Hangar: 10 m. from han ar Pt . 2 above7; -same dimen- Apron: 110 M. long, 50 m.' wide; concrete. PO-2 type aircraft here. Parkin Area: for aircraft; grass surface. about 15 aircraof different types such'as Siebel's and those mentioned above, fit. 7, parked there. Operations Buildin : 10 x 10 x 3 m.;.wooden, with tar paper, gable roof; pilots cleared here before, take-offs and after landings. 25X1 Wooded Area: about. 400 m. from hangars Pts. 2 and 3, above about 20 25X1 -buil ings, a RR track and some new bu ngs under construction; a weather station was also located in this area, 8. Grassy Area: surrounded the entire runway fit. 1, above7, from the apron Jt. 4, above7 to the hangars fit. 9, beloY7. 9. Hangars: three or four hangars of same construction and mensions as hangar fit. 3, abov7, (though possibly older); han ars were 10 m. apart; owned by LOT civilian airlines. an IL-10 and a C-47 parked in front 25X1 of these hangars.
