Building A was divided into two. sections:
a. Section Al was two_Storied; it had a kitchen on the first floor
and a restaurant for free workers on the second floor.
b. Section A2 produced forgings and castings for the Combine.

a furnace and several steam hammers. The western end of this". ..
building was two-storied and housed offices. It was oh the-south-
ern side of this building that the model-shop was being added.
That part of Building D designated as D1 was a repair shop for
locomotives and railroad cars. D2 of Building.D housed offices of
the NVD.
