Place of inspection for jet type aircraft was unknown. the 11th and 12th Squadron located in Wroclaw were responsible to the Air Force Headquarters in WARSAW which directl y was commanded by a Lt. Gen. Stanislaw TURKIELO The Commanding Officer of the 11th Independent Aerial Reconnaissance Squadron was a Captain (name unknown) on flying status. There were 45 enlisted personnel and 20 officers of which 14 of the officers were pilots. Following is a breakdown of enlisted personnel and their duty in the 11th Independent Aerial Reconnaissance Squadron: 15 engine mechanics, 15 engine mechanic helpers, 3 armorers, 4 radio and instrument men, and 8 administra- tive men. This had 13 PO-2 trainer type aircraft'assigned to them. for the squadron to operate at full stre they should have 15 of the above type aircraft assigned to them. 25X1 LJ/\ I II. 12TH AIR SPOTTING SQUADRON: The Commanding Officer of the 12th Air Independent Squadron for ad- justing Artillery Fire was a Captain Zygmunt PADUCH who was on flying status, the adjutant of the 12th was Lt. RUTKIEWICZ, fnu, who also was an Aerial Observation Officer. The Squadron Political officer was Warrant Officer NIEWIADOMY, fnu. there 25X1 were 77 enlisted personnel and 24 officers in the 12th ', :, iri ,1n: ;ep,end,$nt Squadron. this Squadron was overmanned in enlisted 25X1 personnel and un ermanne in pilots. There were seven IL-2 and .three PO-2 type aircraft in this Squadron.
