1. The harbor of Ustka T 54-35, E 16-5.g7 was located in the western part
of the town along both banks of the Stolpe River. The quays had not
suffered any damage during World War II. Nevertheless, most of the
east quay was not unused. There were a few automotive cranes of the
crawler type available.
2, I do not know their lifting capacity. No Soviet soldiers or Polish
Army or Air Force detachments were stationed in uetka.

Legend to Harbor of Ustka
Point # 1. West Quay: unidentified freighteri calling irregularly at
Ustka moored here.
# 2. Small Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Facility located near
the west quay; equipped with a marine railway installatiOn
of minimum capacity; repairs were made aboard ship; wooden
fishing boats were also built here.
# 3. Coal Dump.
# 4, aparate Harbor Basin: there were two sunken German sub-
marines left after Wrorld War 11 in the northern part of this
basin; no preparation for salvaging was made; a Naval Sea
School and Naval barracks that quartered some 3,000 sailors,
were situated about two kilometers northwest of this basin.

Church: in a building located in the immediate vicinity of
this church was the Naval staff and the Commander, known as
the City Commander (a lieutenant) (Komendant Miasta) of the
Naval Coastal City of Ustka. Al]. coastal cities had these
City Commanders who were responsible for law and order in the
coastal city.
Promenade Street: here was located a villa that housed a
naval observation point and signal station; the naval per-
sonnel detailed to this station had to watch shore, coast,
and sea traffic.
# 7. East Qpay: Polish minesweepers and other small.naval craft
that isited Ustka at irregular intervals used to berth, at
the east quay.
