Becva River, 25 - 30 m. wide, 40 cm. deep, earth embankments. 3. Transformer station located about three kilometers west of Prerov and north of the Becva River (point 2). Strhanec Brook, three to four meters wide, flowed south to the Becva River (point 2). 6. Thermal Power Plant, located in the West part of town. Site Layout 50X1 50X1 Reference in Prerov is made to page 5, sketch of Thermal Power Plant 1. Becva River (same as point 2, page 4). 2. Bridge over the Beeva River, built in 1947, reinforced concrete construction, 65 m. long, 10 m. wide, including two one-meter. wide pedestrian walks, 1.20 m. high concrete railing, four stone piers. 3. Suction sieve, laid on the bottom of the Becva River in 1953, 4 x 4m. square. Unit served as water intake for the power plant. 4. Water outlet from the power plant into the Beova River, 5. Street called Nabrezi Doktora Eduarda Benese, eight meters wide, cobblestone, trees on sides. 6. Administration building, brick, four-story, built in 1937. The fourth floor was added in 1947. The building measured 35 x 15 x 18 m. and had a straight roof. 7. Glass-Tenclosed corridor which connected second floors of the administration buildings (points 6 and 8). The corridor was 10 m. long, two meters high, with concrete flooring. 8. Administration building, brick, four-story, red-tile gable roof; 30 x 15 x 20 in., painted dark green. 9. Repair shop, brick, tin roof, 40 x 10 x 6 in. This building was divided into various sections. Trucks belonging to the power plant were repaired there. 10. Fence, mesh wire on the south side, brick wall on the north, west, and east sides, 2.5 in. high. 11. Boiler house, brick, 60 x 40 x 15 in. Type of roof unknown. 50X1 two large boilers, cylindrical, seven meters in diameter, about 20 in. long. No further information. 12. Traveling unloading 13. Coal pile. crane, five meters above ground. Crane was used for coal and coal ashes. Open storage. 14. Two piles of coal ashes. 25. Building, brick, 30 x 10 x 8 in., single story, purpose unknown. Building was constructed in 1952. 20. Two chimneys, 80 in. high, eight meters in diameter at the base. The chimneys were about 10 in. apart. On top of each chimney was a red obstruction light. Production of 50:00 electric power and amount of coal used unknown 50X1 plant worked in three shifts and about 200 people were employed there. Entrance to the power plant was from the south side into building (point 6, page 5). The entrance was guarded 24 hours by two guards in 'black uniforms, armed with pistols. Storage yard (point 18, page 5) was also guarded 24 hours by one guard. Becva River (same as point 2, page 4). Brook (same as point 5, page 4). Building, brick, four-sto 25 x 15 x 15 m., tile able roof. Purpose of this building unknown but :7:1 it could ave been an administration building. 4. Building, similar construction to building (point 3). Purpose of building unknown. Enclosed area, 60 x 4o m. High iron poles and masts with large insulators were located in area. Iron poles were emplaced in concrete foundations. Area was fenced in by a two-meter-high mesh wire fence topped with barbed wire. Various kinds of bushes and saplings were growing on the areas just outside the fence. 6. Double-track rail line (same as point 4, page 4). 7. Road, surfaced with ashes, two meters wide, trees on sides. Road led along the Heave River. Fields made up area north of road.
