1. Ministry of,Agriculture (Ministerstvo na Zemedeleto), an old
stuoooed-briok four or five-storied building, 150 x 30 x 25m,
located on BoulevardKhristobotev.
2. Ministry of Forests (Ministerstvo na Gorite) a white stone,
three to five-Storied buildin #:20 x 150 x 5m, it was constructed
in 1949 and was located on Sofroniy Street.
Ministry of Internal Trade Ministerstvo na Vitrishnata Torgoviya)
Which was constructed in 1947. The'building,[a0 x 2O1a g09ji:ibad
&white stone front. and was six stories tall. It was located on
Graf Ignatiev Street.
Administration of National Supplies and National Reserves;,
U~Tppravleniye Lershavno Snabdyavane i DsrsbavenResery - TTDSDR).
his s organisation was housed in the former Imperial Hotel on
Boulevard A].eksander Stambouliskiy. The building was seven-
storied, brtok-stuoooedland L-shaped. Raab wing was 20 x 20 x 30m.
The chief of the organization held : the, rank of minister.
5. Ministry of ,Mining (M inisterstvo n'a Minits i Podse ,its Bogats-tva ,
a corner building On Lenin Square and Boulevard Stamboulis,, iy. It
was an old brick building with' a whits-stone 'front,, 20 x 15 x 20m,
and was four-storied. This ministry is an indepindent ministry.

The Ministry of Jurisprudence (Ministerstvo na Pravosydieto)
and the Military Tribunal (Voyennen Syd) were located in a
building called the Palace of Justice (Sydebna Palata); this
building was a rectangular building with a center courtyard
.
Each side of the building was approximately 100 x 30 x 25m.
The chief of the Military Tribunal was a colonel, Lagadinova
(fnu).
Commission for State Control (Kommisiya za Derzhaven Kontrol)
The Commission had offices in a four-storied building, 50 x 25 x
20m, with.a white-stone front. It was located :on ?the..oorner of
Boulevard Stambouliskiy . and Lomska.'. Street The' head of the
commission was Ddmo Diohev.
The Ministry of National Health (Ministeretvo na Narodnoto
Zdrave) was located on the corner of Lenin Square and Boulevard
Stambouliskiy. The building was a five-story structure, 40 x
20 x 25a, with a white-stone front. The head of the organization
was Dr. Petr Kolarov,
The future location of the Ministry of Heavy Industry (Ministerstvo
na Teshkata Promishlenost'),, in an area which contained four or
five buildings undergoing construction. This area was to become
the new center of Sofia. The present location of the Ministry
of Heavy Industry is described under Point 22.
10. The future site of the Ministry of Electrification (Minieteretvm
na Elektrifikatsiata) was a building under construction.
11. State Planning Commission (Derzhavna Planova Kommiseiya), a
building on the corner of Boulevard Dondukov and Serdika. Street.
This building was oed, six-storied structure,
20 x 20 x 25m. the Commission was headed by
Karlo Lukanov,
12. The Central Committee of the Bulgarian Communist Party and the
Council of Ministers was the largest building in Sofia; it was
rectangular in shape with a center courtyard and was located on
Alekeander I Square:,
13. Ministry of External Trade (Miniaterstvo na Venshnata T*rgdviya),
an old, three-storied;'brick-itucooed building, 30 x 15 x 15m,
located on Molotov Street.
14. Ministry of National Defense (Ministerstvo na Narodnata Otbrana)
whose offices were housed in an old,. four-story, white-itone
building, 100 x 50 x 20u. Enlargement of the structure was in
process. This building was located on Levskly Street; its entrance
was guarded by armed soldiers.
15. Presidium of the National Assembly (Presidium na Narodnoto
Sobraniye) where foreign emissaries presented their credentials.
The building,60 x 20 x 30a, was a five-story,,white-stone structure
located on Moekya Street. It had been constructed about 10
years ago and was enlarged in 1952.
16.. Ministry of Culture (Miniaterstvo na Kulturata), an old five-story,
white--stone building, 30 x 15 x 20m. It was located on Boulevard
Russkiy. The Minister of Culture was Rubin Abromov.
17. Ministry of Cinefication (Ministerstvo na Kinefikatskiata), at
old five-storied, brick-stuccoed building, 15 x 10 x 20m, located
on Rakovskiy Street.

1.8. Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministerstvo na Venshnite'Raboty),
a four-storied, white. stone building, 60 x 20 x 20m, was located
on Slavyanska Street. This building formerly housed the Ministry
of Jurisprudence,
19. Ministry of Finance (Ministerstvo na Finansite), a five-storied,
stuccoed-brick building which was L-shaped; each wing was
approximately 30 x 15 x 25m. It was located on Rakovskiy Street.
Its minister was Kiril Lazarov.
20. Ministry of Electrification (Ministeretvo na Elektrifikatsiyata),
an old, three-story, stuccoed-brick, L-shaped building; each
wing was 40 x 15 x 20m. The building was located on 6 of September
Street. The minister was Ninon Georgiev.
21. Ministry of Internal Affairs (Ministerstvo na Vutreshnite Raboty),
an old, five-story, white stone, U-shaped building. The front
was 100* in length and wings were 25m. This building,' located
on 6 of September 'Street, had its entrance guarded by armed militia-
men e
22. Ministry of Heavy Industry (Ministeretvo na Tezhkata Promyshlennost%,
located on Graf Ignatiev Street, The building was L-shaped,
constructed of white stone,and was five stories tall. Each
wing was 40x15x25m.
23. Ministry of Transport (Ministerstvo na Transporta), an old,'three-
story, brick-stuccoed building, 20 x 20 x 15m, on Levskiy Street.
24. Ministry of Communications (Ministerstvo na Poshtite), which
handled post, telegraph, and telephone communication, was located
on Levskiy Street. The building was five-storied, white..stone,and
L-shaped; each wing was 40 x 20 x 20m. The minister was Toole
Draf oycheva .
25. Ministry of Community Economy (Ministerstvo na Kommunalnoto
Stopanstvo), located on Slaveykov Square. The building was an
old, five-story, brick-stuccoed, V-shaped structure. The main
front was 80rm long and the wings 30*. The building was 152 wide
and 25m, high.
26. Ministry of National Education (Ministerstvo na Narodnata
Prosveta). It was located on Slaveykov Square and was an old,
six-story, brick-stuccoed building, 20 x 30 x 252.
27, Ministry of Light Industry (Ministerstvo na Lekhata Promyshlennost'),
an old, six-story, brick-stuccoed building, 20 x 30 x 25m. It
was located on Graf Ignatiev Street.
28. Ministry of Food Industries (Ministerstvo na,$hraniteloata
Promyshlennost), located on Vasil Kolarov Street. The building,
constructed in 1948, was white stone, five-storied,and measured
50 x 20 x 25m. The minister was Rueoy Khristozov.
