The 166th Air Fighter Division was based at Mlada Airfield until timwas transferred to Tri Duby (Sligo) Octobeerd 1953 ~atgwh B ichgt Dim , 2. The 6th Fighter Regiment left Mlada Airfield in September 1954 nd was traneferre to a location unknown to source. This Regiment loft Mlada Airfield about one week after the 166th Air Fighter Division left. 3. The 7th and the 2nd Fighter Regiments left Mlada Airfield at the beginning of October 1954 for a destination unknown to source. 4. The 26th Airfield Battalion was transferred from Mlada Airfield to Hurbanove Kasarne (Hurban Casernes) in Bratislava during the middle of July 1954. 5. The 2nd Airfield Battalion left Mlada Airfield in October 1954 when it was transferred to Tri Duby (Sliac) Airfield. Both the 2nd and the 26th Airfield Battalions took along equipment and personnel assigned to them. The 22nd Airfield Battalion remained at Mlada Airfield. In the summer of '1954 this Battalion was scheduled to be-transferred to Hurbanove Kasarne in Bratislava; preparations for moving were under way for two months. In the summer of 1954 Mlada Airfield received news that the :runway at Bratislava-Ivanka Airfield was ready to accomodate let aircraft. However, in September'1954 it was decided that the 22nd Airfield Battalion was to remain at Mlada Airfield.
