One Fighter Regiment from Gbely (N 48-43, E 17-08), designation unknown to source. 2. These four fighter regiments were the only ones that participated in the maneuvers. Their total aircraft strength consisted of about 150 MIG-15 type aircraft. The fighter regiments from Ceske Bude- jovice and Obely brought along their own maintenance personnel who were bivouacked in the woods approximately 200 m. north, of the airfield. 3. Source did not'know the total strength of personnel participating in these maneuvers. The aircraft from Ceske Budejovice and Gbely were parked on hardstandswhen not in operation and at night were covered with canvas. During these maneuvers the weather was excellent for flying-howevnr, there was never any night flying. All flying activities took place between 0600 and 2000 hours. The aircraft always flew in formations of three. Source did not know the destination of their flights nor their activities. These formations of three aircraft each returned to Mlada Airfield 25X1X for re-fueling three or four times a day. Each flight averaged approximately two hours. all the aircraft were equipped with a.
