The 57th Gds Rifle Div, with the 39th AT Brig attached, has the mission of making a march from the Naumburg region to the Aspach region during the night of 2$-29 December 1951, and will be ready to shift to offense in the direction of Eisenach on 3O December 1951. The divis~.on will execute the march in two columns, using two routes. The right column proceeds as follows: Naumburg, Weimar, Erfurt, Q~gtha, Aspach. It consists of the division headquarters, the 170th 4ds Rifle Refit, the 655th How Refit, the 932d Sep AAA Bn (two be,tteries), the 67th Sep Engr Bn, the $9th Sep Sig Bn, the Medical Dn, and division rear services. The left column proceeds as follows; Weissenfels, Weimar, and then by autobahn to Chorselgei , It consists of the 174th tads Rifle Refit, the 12$th Arty Refit, the 172d 4ds Rifle Refit, the 17th HT-SP Refit, the 64th Seep AT Bn, the gad Sep Mtrcl Ren Bn, and one battery of the g32d Sep AAA Bn. The division units are to observe strictly all principles of camouflage, concealment, and the safeguarding of military security during the , march . During the advance of our units, the artillery will shift its fire to the secondary line of resistance, neutralize firing points, and eupport the advancing divisional units with fire. The battalion . may be notified of a combat alarm by the division commander, or the chief of staff of the division, or 'by staff offic~;rs who have signed permission from the div~,sion commander. b. The combat alarm may be announced by telephone or radio, and also 'by a liaison officer, who notifies the officer of the day , c .
