2. Vice Minister of the Chemical Industry (Vice Minister Prasayaly
Chomyocuego) was Engineer Franoisssk Ulak, al/uc a an of about
50 years of age. Prior to World War II he was aseistant of analytical
chemistry on the staff of the Warsaw Technical University
,(Politeohsiks Warssswska):. Ho was a well knows Cosmnist and
during the war acted as Consul at lierut. Za 1945, he organised
the Polish Industry of Reagents (Polski Presa'sl_Odosynnikov),
aid bsosms its first director. That acme year he built the
Chemical Reagents Plant (Fabryka Cdasynnikow Oheaiasnyoh) in
Gliwice, Poland. Is 1949 he became the chief director of the
United Inorganic Chemical Industrial. Factories, Ina (Zhedsooaose 50X1
Zaklady Prsemsly.Nisorgasiosse`o !rg), and is 1930. the second
director of the entire Polish Chemical Industry
