1. Five of PolAnd's industrial .explosive plata belong to an
administrative unit named the United Enterprises of t4e
Chemical industry, Incorporated (Zjednoczone Zaklady
Przemely Chenicznego, Erg). These five factories are super-
vised by the Ministry. of Chemical,-Ihdulstry (Ministeretwo
Przemysly Chemiczengo). Two of Poland's explosive factories,
however, are controlled directly by the Ministry of National
Defense (Ministerstvo Obrony NarodoWeg - MON).
2,, All Polish factories producing. explosives are identified
by the title, Factory of the ChemAcal IndustryAZakiady
PrZemusly Chenisznego) and this general title is followed
by the nymber of the individual faotory and, the name of
the town in which it is located for instance, the explosive
factory at Kni.pski. Mlyn- is designated., Zaklady Przemusiu
,,aemicznego? Erg #3, Krupskl Mlyn. In the following list
of factorieo in Poland producing explosives, factories #1
and #2 are controlled by the Ministry of National Defense,
and factories #3 to #7 are controlled by the United .Chemical
Industry.
