This plant employed approximate) 5000 employees, who worked
in three shifts: from 0600 to 1400, 1400 to 2200, and 2200

This plant had four blast furnaces, two of which had a daily
tonnage capacity of 400 tons each, and the other two of 300
tons each-
This plant had no electric-furnaces but did have eight open-
hearth furnaces. Two of,the open-hearth furnaces had a daily
capacity of 100 tons each; the other six'had a daily capacity of
fifty tons each. These furnaces were tapped three times a day
and the approximate oval daily tonnage was 1500 tons per day.
In 1945 all the rolling mills and the hydraulic presses'posaesae
by'this plant were dismantled and taken to'the USSR. Consequent
the rolling mills were inoperative and the plant produced only
iron and steel.
This plant produced crude iron and steel.
The plant employed approximately five thousand employees who
