THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION 1 G One of the largest depots for artillery tanks, and. aaimvmition was to rated,H up to July. 2948 .~n the region of Rathenow L2?36' .' 12?2050. A storehouse of spare parts for tanks and artillery was also located there, as well as a repair shop for tank motors in which more than 150 specialists, all of them military personnel, were employed. Workmen from among the German population were not allowed there. All the war materiel left by the army and units transferred to the Far East was stored there too. 2. Tank motors and spare parts were stored in the hangars of a former airf .eld between the towns of Ludwigelust 53?l9 L1?30j and Grabow 53016?, llo3j . There was a railway branch leading to that storage. 3. There was a large storehouse of clothing and sanitary supplies in the c-i.ty of Magdeburg Z5_20101, 1104017, which supplied the current needs of the 3rd Shock Army. 4. In addition, there were tremendous food supply depots in the city of Magdeburg for the current needs of the 3rd Shock Army, with a permanent yearly reserve fund. 59 A storage depot of ?'NZ provisions was located in the town of Schwerin 53038', 110235 at the railroad freight station; it was subordinate to the 3rd Shock Army. 6. The largest storage depot of the occupation army in Germany was located in the suburbs of the town of Schoenebeck 52?Ol', 11?4+527, 18-20 kilo- meters from the town of Magdeburg. It belonged to a group of occupation forces and supplied all the Army depots. In the village of Tangermunde 52033', 11?575, on the site of a former artillery range an assembly shop for aviation motors was built underground during 1916-1918, which was to go into operation at the end of 1948.
