map of Proskuro tale 1:10,000 identifying the following in-
stallations:
1. Passenger railroad station, and old one-story brick building
2. Freight railroad station, an old one-story brick building
3. Highway to Starokonstantinov, a 10-12 ft wide gravelled road
4. Highway to KamenetsPodoisk, a 10-12 ft wid gravelled road
5. Highway to Vinnitsa a 10-12 ft wide gravelled road
6. Airfield., with a one-mile long concrete runway. There were wood hangars
to accommodate the one and two engine aircraft used by the airforce
unit stationed there. Three brick buildings, of three stories each,
built about 1925, housed the 350 men attached to the unit.
7. Sugar factory, an old two-story brick building, accommodating
500-600 employees.
8. Brick factory, an old two-story brie::: building. The factory employed
300 to 400 personnel.
9. Park

13. Government buildings police station and newspaper office, a brick
two-story building constructed about 1925-
14. Hospital, a one.-story brick building with about 150 beds.
1.5. High school., a two-story brick building constructed about 1930. There
were 300-400 students here.
16. Cinema., a one-story brick building constructed, about 1935.
17. Theater., an old two-story brick building
18. Military installation, at old four-story brick building
19. Power plant., operating on steam produced from coal.
20. Telephone., telegraph and post office, an old onenretory brick building
21. Free market., food storage area.
2. There were no street car tracks or buses in Proakurov. All churches had been
destroyed.
