"Hangars there are probably six hangars. (From the road, it is diffi-
cult to discern the exact number;one of the buildings may be a barracks.)
In the Spring of 1953, there was still an accumulation of cement and
equipment near the rail-spur..

was under construction in the summer of 1952; At was located near the
new hangars.
8. "Operator: as of Spring 1953 the airfield was still operated by the
T.A,R.S., (Soviet-Rumanian Air company.)
9. "Climate: the climate is good, rarely foggy. Winter snows do not
hinder traffic on the airfield; summer and fall rains do not hinder
operations either, as the field surface is porous and dries immediately.
