1. The Central Medical School for Medical Technicians 276ednija Medie
cinske Skala Medicinaleh Tehnicarg in Zagreb Was located from 1945
to 1941 At Mirogojska 4; 1.21 1947 the school was moved to Mlinarska
Street.,
2. The school offers a two year course which qualifies graduates as
pedical technicians, such as x-ray, laboratory, etc technicians.

subjects:

first year:. biology: chemistry,, anatomy physics Croatian
literature? Latin and Russian
second year; hygiene, infectious diseases, x-ray technique?
principles of surgery, internal medicine and
pediatrics.
3. During the first .year, students use mannikins in pracruii,dng the
various techniques they are taught. The seCond year includes
two days per meek in a hospital clinic in Zagre) where students
help with actual treatment of patients.
4. The faculty is of all Yugoslav nationality, and every member holds
an MD degree except the teacher of Croatian literature. Dr- Bruno
Mark?
is -well known in Maga-
slay medical circles and is considered perhaps the outstanding
Yugoslav doctor Specializing in xray treatment of -lung diseases.
DT Mark was asistint director of the school in 1947.
