Daring FY 3961 the Subcommittee on Industrial Machimery and
] peat was relatively Inactive in reviewing the intelligence products
in its field, primarily because ORB has become virtually the sole

requested a review of ORR publications in this field.
2. Research and Collection Deficiencies
A number of Priority Deficiency Statements prepared by ORR were
reviewed duri the p wt year by the other agemciea represented on the
Bubcommittee, order to combine the collection deficiencies for the
entire intel?tience co unity. Tbaue Included Statements of Infor-
ion Need (13I8) for the coal mining machinery industry and the tractor
lad=try of to USAR, and ORB Priority GaPs in Information (OR GI) for
the turbine, chemieal eft, agricuttural maahinery, and locomotive
and railroad car building industries of t e W8R and for the production
