Review of Draft of Annual ]Report
1. Discussion: In response to a request of the Executive
secretary of the EIC, the officers of the Subcommittee premed a
draft of the annual report to the EIC f~rm the Subcommittee on
minerals and metals. This draft was distributed to the Subcommittee
members prior to the meeting to solicit their comments and additions,
if any.

The representatives of the Air Force and C OST were unable to
attend the meeting but discussed the draft annual report and the
review of the status of priority deficiencies with the Subcommittee
officers prior to the meeting.
The State Department represenly:ative inquired regarding the
acquisition of certain inteiiiger a materials which are available
in CIAi/RR but as yet unpubli?ahed. The Che irme n stated that these
could be made available to ambers on an informal basis in bilateral
or multilateral discussions or, if a written report were desired,
upon receipt of a formal request.
2. Action: The Subcommittee: approved, with minor changes and
additions, the draft of the annual report (attached). The Air Pbrce
and CIA./OSI representatives had concurred in the report prior to the
meeting.
