SUBJECT : Classified BSD Material Located Outside
the Agency
in the
1. There are five combination lock safes permanently located
The safes contain classified material on claims submitted by em-
ployees under the Federal Employees' Compensation Act and processed
by the Personal Affairs Branch. Three safes are located in Room
1040, one in 1160 and one in 1170.
2. In addition, there are four combination lock safes, one
in each of the four storage companies used by Central Processing
Branch. The UNCLASSIFIED material contained therein is made
up of letters from us to the storage companies regarding material
being moved into, stored., or moved out. This arrangement was
made at the request of the Office of Security; a security officer from
the Office of Logistics makes an annual inspection of these safes.
