Program of National Intelligence Estimates
for Period 1 October 1955 to 30 September 1956
1. On 27 September the IAC approved the attached quarterly
revision of the Program of National Intelligence Estimates as a
basis for scheduling estimates under established procedures
(IAC-M-190).
2. The Status of the Estimates Program for tht: Third
Quarter of 1955 (Tab A) and a Progress Report of NIE's in process
as of 27 September (Tab B) are attached for information.
