SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS OF THE FEDERAL
CIVIL DEFENSE ADMINISTRATION
1. The attached memorandum from the Director of
Central Intelligence to the Federal Civil Defense Adminis-
tration is circulated for information. Reference is made
to paragraph 5 of IAC-D-201.
2. The attached memorandum is considered to satisfy
the requirement of that paragraph with regard to the secur-
ity arrangements of the Federal Civil Defense Administration.

1. Reference memorandum stated that
intelligence support would be accorded the Federal.
Civil Defense Administration by this Agency when the
security arrangements for the safeguarding of CIA
material to be furnished have been approved.
2. As a result of recent conversations
with you and the Security Officer of FCDA, I am pleased
to advise that the security arrangements proposed for the
protection of CIA material are considered satisfactory.
