Stability of the Present Regime in Iran,
dated 26 August 1958
I. Fins
Preparation of this estimate was handicapped by a lack of
information concerning. the membership, organization,.. and capabilities
of groups in opposition to the current regime in Iran. This was par-
ticularly true with respect to orientation and groupings of both the
senior and junior officers in the military.
The IAC agencies are requested to take such action as is feasible
to remedy the above weaknesses in intelligence coverage.
