SUPPLEMENT
L The Austrian farmer!; are upset by the criticism, which has been aimd at
thm by the Food Directorate and the press. They feel that it would be
u rise to market farm produce as long as they oamot buy consumer's goods
at official prices. Minister of Agriculture Adolf Kraus and Cbanocllori
Figl are being blamed for this situation.
2. The farmers in various localities plan to organize Ortevehren (f6rex?unner
of Heimehren twenty--five years ago) in order to carry out the threatened
resistance by force against the Government inspection and requisition cam
missions, The Ortswelaren will operate underground because of the presence
of the occupation forces. The 20 October 19" speech of Staataasekretlr
Graf at Leibnitz indicated his recognition of the farmers t feelings,
