It is reported that since the Italian Government appears to be in no hurry to carry out the Paris Agreement of 5 September the leaders of the South Ti rolean Volkspartei have drawn up a f ve- point program which they wish put into effect immediately. The program provides for the followings (a) The cession to the Province of Bolzano of the so- called IUn terl and"; (b) The creation of a nine member. Advisory Committee which will comprise four members of the SVP, one representative of the South Tirolean Social Demo- cratic Party9 one Ladin representative and one re- presentative from each of the three Italian politi- cal parties and will have the following dutiess (1) advising on all administrative matters in the South Tirol ; elaborating proposals for the transfer to the promised autnomy; preparing for the first election. This draft program. is said to have been submitted about a week ago to the three Italian political parties in the South Tirol and to the South Tirolean Social Democrats for their comment. E According to reports only the local Italian Christian Democrats have acknowledged receipt of the program.
