1. Premier Teaidaris is reported to have asked Sophooles Venizelos to
join the Government. The latter refused and urged Tsaldaris to
resign... When Venizelos indicated that he thought Themistoclos Sophoulis
to be the logical choice for the Premiership, Tealdsris sr.ld that this
would aid the enemies of Greece. venizeeloa replied that in his opinion
the enemies of Greece were right in some respects,, end he condemned
the indiscriminate persecution at true democrats.
