1. During the first week of November 19l 6, considerable movements of tank
formations were observed between 4 ai mex (J57) and Kranichfeld (J45);
they took place only at night or very early in the morming0 The tanks
were of a now type not previously observed and weighed approximately
thirty-five tons.
2, Several cavalry regimer:ts were reported in the deimar-Halle (1792) a-
teraeburg (1)91) area and repeated transports of 8.8 um. AA guns by
road- and rail were observed travelling east to presto Small armed
posts and fi ld fortifications are being erected buts as they have
no concrete foundations, it is thought that they are to be used
