On 1 June 1946, the Khabarovsk aircraft factory started manufacture of f our==-
engine bombers. !`aeh engine has 1200 borsepobiero The plane has a speed of 452
miles per hour and a bomb lead ~c.apacity of 31 tons. The Chinese name for this
Model is Pi Tieh PPi x ' ) The factory employs about' 00 workers
including 16:0 Germans. 1 Tba factory authorities spreRd prepapandn among the
workers such as a prediction that Russian parachute troops will be able to land
in Alaska then 20,000 of these bombers are completed.
The xihaharovs'~ shipbuilding factory is now in full production, and is building
naval landing, ern-ft. Up to the end of September 1946, 1064 of these craft had
been corpleted. About 2300 ,workers are employed in the factory.
