Instructions regarding the conscription of specialists have been received
by the Soviet authorities in the Russian Zone o?' Germany from Moscow.
They call for the wrecruiting?` of the following types of personnel:
'a) All specialists in rocket projectiles, remote
control,and other aeronautical subjects.
(b) Specialists in fuels and raw materials, and biologists.
(c) Doctors, particularly surgeons and X-ray specialists, and
dentists with special qualifications.
(d) Specialists in animal and plant breeding.
(e) Specialists in agricultural machinery.
(f) Specialists in motor vehicle manufacture and in transportation
subjects generally.
(g) Specialists to reereat in the USSR the dismantled German factories.
The Zentralverwaltung Air Industrie has received instructions to carry out
with the help of the police a registration of all sale technicians up to the
age of-forty-five. Specialist training and capacity for work must be reported
in detail, The Zentralverwaltung, was to have reported by 30 November 1946
to the SHA in Karlshorst on the results of this registration operation.
