14 Since oufficsient quantities of gas are available to the Otto Gruson Merles,
gdebur?g-Buc . a (at the expense of supplies for the civilian population),,
the Siemens-Martin plant is being operated in nhifts twenty-four bows per
day. ;eay turning rings (Iwo-fringe) for tank turrets are the main type of
produo . The crude castings for these weigh up to 16 tons. (L3ufrinp in
production at Schaffer & Budenberg, gdeburg. weigh up to three tons only.)
2 The S.N.A. eeel castings production program is considerably assisted by the
reactivation of three Siemens- rtin furnaces at the Otto Gruson Works.
Instructions have been given to produce 36 tons of steel per furnace per
shift but up to the date of information this rate of output had kot been
reached.
3. The caetings prepared at Sohaffer & Bo enbarg a a for Dieil engine casings
end oylinder heads have bean delivered to tha Krupp-Gr onwerke on $.N.A.
