SUPPLEMENT
A new firm called, than Soc;ieta per Azioni Zone Industriaale (SAZI) is reported
to have been for sd in Trieste. Ihe purpose of the organization, which al-
legedly? has a capful of 2,000,000 lire and is located at 9 Via S. iicolo,
Trite, i to buy and s all land on which industrial plants and harbor in-
stallations will be built a The SAZI will also carry out co reiaal, indus-
trial or real, estate tractions connected with the above program and may
take part in whatever industry in started in the area,
2. The area in question is situated Southeast.of Trieste in the zones called
Zaule and Noghero which -4311 be divided into districts to be known as Zone
A and Zone D. Zone A will. be built up an an industrial section with building
docks,, canals,, railroad 4unetiona, roads, etc. while Zone $ will be reserved
for on airport with 4rdern equipment which will be than only commercial air-
port in the. Free State.
3. It is believed that the SAZI may be a front for the American Engineering
Comps which is reported to be ara, part of the Gianninl interests. It is
also said that contraactas are basing worked out with a large Brazilian Packing
Company and with two large American industrial concex?n6, possibly General
tors and General Electric.
