The follotdag statements regarding deposits of uranium in Poland were made
by Professor Bnedanovi.cz, director of the Geological Institute in Warsaw:
1. Professor ogdanovicz stated that Poland has very rich deposits of uranium
at Krvvzata near Jelenia Gora (Hirschberg,, about 95 kris B.W. of Wroclaw).
2e The exploitation of uranium was started by the Germans, but they abandoned
it on account of the war and partly due to. damage suffered by the mines

Professor Bogdanovicz further stated that the Polish Government is repair-
ing the damage to the mines but that they had not yet started to work them.
