Proposed Administration of th Zone in
the Eventuality of a rraanent East-West
Division of Germany
1. Preparations in anticipation of a possibly permanent East-West division
of Germ are in progress in the Russian Zone.
2. Administrative oigani zatlona which will operate in the zone in the
event that such a division becomes a fact will include the Mr.istry
of State: for the Internal Administration of the 5o .et Zone and the
Pol.itbu r o, bath of which have -already been formed for that p rpose.
The Poli.tbth o is said to include Kurt Reschke and Rana Kah7.e 4. The
latter is at present chief of Police for the eck enbur Vorpor am area.
The radio station at Grnau (Berlin) is appatrently intended to function
as the official go rn nt transmitter for the 'astern Zone
