Ihhe Mil has set the coal production quota for the mines of
Brandenburg for the second quarter of 1947 at 210 ,40000 tons.
The quota for briquette manufacture Is 912 9000 tons C.

mantled,. Two excavators remain in the mine and are eatable of
maintaining a certain degree of production, The breakdown of

Comment the
actual average dally production of coal in Brandenburg for the
month of March was 52,000 tons, or 1,300,000 tons for the month
as based on twenty-five working days. The present quota for the
second quarter is therefore, approximately one million tons
less than it woul have been if continued at the rate of pro-
duction at the close 'of the `Qr?st quarter. The total 1946
coal production in Brandenburg was 17,200 4000 tons,
