1. 1Insdorf (Z-91) : briefed to check reports con-. 25X1 X6
cerning an airfield alleged to be at or near t'i!nsdorf, visited that area
on 7 June 1947. Two dozen local residents were questioned; all stated that
no such field exists and that the nearest is at Rangsdorf.
2. Rang dorf (Z-82): On 7 June, source of Paragraph 1 counted twenty-eight
L1# 5's on the field and five more airborne? There were two MIG-3's at the
workshop hangar. This field is still without concrete runways.
:3, weiow (A-44); On 14 June, Welsow Airfield was heavily occupied. The large
worksho was equipping Soviet aircraft with bomb sights, radar? weapons,

etc. Comment: Similar information on Welzow was received from another source during the same period. A third 25X1 AX
source has already reported that on 17 May 1947 eighty-two IL 2's had recent-
ly arrived at Welzow.
4. Bad Lausick (K-49): An unconfinned report of 29 May states that an airfield
is under construction between Ek?,d Lausick and Hopfgarten (K--48). In this
area the Colditz forest has been blocked off and a barracks camp is being,
erected.

Laauucha (J-79): Observed on 27 May, the field had been broken up into plots
for cultivation. There were no hangars and no runty.
4. KQhen (D--95): Local's residents stated on 29 May that only five planes were
based at the field which is, hot ever, closed off and wider guard.

Gorries (T-t46) : Seven aircraft ere counted on this field on 26 May.
Comment: A previous report received on Gorries stated that in January 1;;.17'
the field was inoperative.)
Gaberndorf (J-47): A meadow beth7ee n Gaberndorf and Daasdorf (J-47),, approxi-
mately six kilometers east of Vassar, has been used by the Soviet Air Farce
since ;8 May. The ground crew consists of about twenty men. On 22 May, source
observed five U2's there. Sheds and fuel tanks have been set up. (25X1 A6a
