UPPLEMENT
1. A meeting of the Panhellenic Organization of Reserve Officers was held
on 3 August in Piraeus.
This organization has .s membership of about 20, 000 reserve and retired
officers throughout Greece, and is headed by Georgios Karamanos, a
lawyer and retired reserve officer.
3. At the meeting Colonel Lambropoulos, an honorably discharged and retire,.
officer, stated that the organization must be alerted because of the
efforts to set up a service government under Themistocles Sophoulis
and the Center which would, in fact, be a Left Wing government.
4. Lambropoulos implied that he had been ordered to alert. the organi..zatioax

and sent copies of its resolution to King Paul and to the Minister of
War.
