iron works at Taganrog (1+7 *121 N , 3*3"57' E). The twelve ' prey blast i :irnaces have
been restored and in full operation since 'ebruary 1946. The furnaces, vdAch-
are used to process the loca: yy maned iron ore,., have a capacity of 600 '.ens each
per tappi g.
Since Ju e 194611 the ex sstinC installations have been undergoing expansion.

April 1947, four new blast furnaces., with capacity of 800 tons each, were
completed and put into operat1.one An additional. six furnaces are now In
operation. According to rumor, there is to be a total of twenty new fi..naces.

or two casting shops. In the four casting shops, "T" and "double-T" g dens ~,
said to be for housing are rrroduced,
