. The tunnels on the new 1:no between Pernik, Voluyak and Sofia are to )e
ten meters wide and eight wIters high to provide for double lines.
An alternative line hetw.,nr Pernik and Sofia is being planned. This
circumvent the heights o.t tte village ot Vladaya and thus spare the
locomotives which have ;2:i.va,s had to be provided for this particular )ention
of the line. It will be h2 kilometers in length.
3. The object of this alterl,at vs line is to increase the transport faci_itieL
between the Pernik coal in :s and Sofia, and thence to the rest of Bulgaria.
