Propaganda sections are being organized by the Korean authorities in North
,.area. The main pa:rpoee of the sections is to prevent an antitrus ;,eeship
movement from developing in North Korea.

a- ourrt of propaganda to the effect that the USSR now has completed work on
the atomic bomb and will be able to show the world its fu-11 strength in 1948s
One of the slogans circul::ted by the Kore -n Military TT rop. ag--nda Sec L ion was:
",Victory now belongs to our side." The Soviet Army, however, through its
Special Service (counter-espionage) Corps, has ordered the Korean Military
E:r?o aganda Section to stop spreading any more of this type of -ropag.~.nda.
