It is probable that there are some Russian planes as well in the hangers. There are some Russian fighters in Otoperic (probably Otopeni) airfield. The Dutesti Droplea airfield is under Russian occupation. The Baxtease. airfield is being used for civilian purposes, and there are some civil Russian planes here, ?~9 A fighter school is situated at Craiova Ytnere there are some 30-b4O Yak-3 training planes. In Braso-T the Russians have a repair shop for their airplanes, the make and type of vthia h has not been fully ascertained. There. are no Russian planes in the airfields at Sibiu and Cluj. o. Oradea has a very large airfield which has some 400 aircraft. The fighters are Yak-7 and the bombers are of Stormovik model, f. There are some 300 planes of Yak-7 and Stornovik type at the -rad airfield. g. There are no Russian planes at Timisoara, but the Russians are enlarging the airfield. h. At Mamaia, there are some 30-40 Boston Bombers and a Russian fighter squadron which is kept ready to take off five minutes after the sounding of alarm. J. Some Boston Bombers were seen at the airfield of Calarasi and at the Buzau airfield. 3. A Russian air unit. under the command of a colonel is stationed at Tecuci with some 200 aviation officers. Planes of the unit include 87 Boston Bombers, one 63-:?rench, of Russian make and three Udva single-engined training biplanes. Every bomber has some 12-14 bombs each weighing some 150-200 hilograns. k. At Varna, the tussiaris have a ?i;;hter Squadron which is apt ready to take off 15 minutes after the sounding of alarm. Russian air units are feverishly busy in training, but in spite of that, they seem to be ignorant of scientific methods of flight. For example they are not very adept in blind-flying and night flights which they attempt only in case the field is well illuminated. They cannot make a landing controlled and directed by a radio apparatus. 4.
