It is reported that Utkin and Sagarin, respectively chief and de :-tri cgs zef
of the Light Industa7 Division of USIVA, have stated in a o ver: ati on that
Major General. Borisov will be replaced as head of USIVA around the thin-3
week in October. Mentioned as his successor was Malavin, head of the s^scial
Moscow committee which investigated USIVA in the stxt r of 1947 It is said
that Borisov is not being renoved for incompetence, but rather bocau:e of the
fact tit he is Jewish.
