1. The last group of Japanese to be repatriated from Shantung Province are at Tsingtao
awaitjng transportation. Of this group eighty-one 7.rrived from Tsi,n.an t17-i 0,
36.41 during the period 19-21 September 1947; oth-- ?s are those who were not
repatriated aboard the SOAP IST 47, which departed ''rom Tsingtao on 19 September.
2. The sailing of the group currently awaiting transportation will terminate the
Japanese repatriation program for Tsingtao and Shantung Province.
3. The Chinese Government will retain a few skilled Japanese as technicians,
physicians and advisors.
